MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. Russian gas giant Gazprom expects the Stockholm Arbitration Court to bring a verdict on the company’s dispute with Naftogaz of Ukraine only in late 2016, the company said in a statement on Monday.
According to the statement, the hearing is scheduled for late September 2016 and the verdict will be brought by the end of 2016.
The Stockholm Arbitration Court decided not to attach the new $ 6.2 bln lawsuit Naftogaz filed against Gazprom in October 2014 to the $6 bln lawsuit the Ukrainian company filed in June 2014.
The court attached the $4.5 bln lawsuit Gazprom filed against Naftogaz in June 2014 to the $6 bln lawsuit the Ukrainian company filed in June 2014.
In 2014, both Gazprom and Naftogaz filed mutual claims to the Stockholm Arbitration Court last year on the gas price and debt amounts.
