NOVO-OGARYOVO, March 27. /TASS/. Russia ranks first in Europe for the number of Internet users, with Internet-related business accounting for about 10% of national GDP, President Vladimir Putin told a presentation of the Internet Startups project.
"This is a substantial percentage," Putin said, noting 60 million surfing the web daily.
The Foundation for Internet Development Initiatives set up in 2013 was growing rapidly in Russia, the president added, noting that 150 projects had passed through it.
