MOSCOW, March 24. /TASS/. Russia's Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) on Tuesday sent telegrams to heads of German, Spanish and French diplomatic missions offering to help investigate the cause of the crash of a Germanwings Airbus A320 in the French Alps.
"Taking into account international practices and existing agreements in investigating air incidents, the Interstate Aviation Committee expressed readiness to render technical assistance in investigating the cause of the catastrophe," the IAC, a body authorised to investigate civil air incidents in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) comprising former Soviet countries, said in a statement.
