Motorised infantry brigade in Russia's Siberia receives 15 modernized tanks

The tanks have a better fire control system and new-generation communications equipment

MOSCOW, March 16. /TASS/. A motorised infantry brigade not far from Novosibirsk received another consignment of upgraded T-72B3 tanks, official representative of the Central Military District Yaroslav Poschupkin told TASS on Monday.

"Fifteen deeply modernized T-72B3 tanks were delivered from producer (Uralvagonzavod) to the Yurga Motorised Infantry Brigade," he said. "The crews and maintenance have completed additional training to exploit the new tanks."

T-72B3 has a better fire control system and new-generation communications equipment. The crew now will be able to fire not only from the standing position, but also as tank is moving
