MOSCOW, March 11 /TASS/. Death toll from the Admiral trade center fire in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, has reached 3, law enforcers told TASS.
"One person died on the spot. Another two victims later died in hospital," the source said.
The fire started on the first floor of the three-storied trade centre at around 13:00 Moscow time /10:00 GMT/ covering an area of about 4,000 square metres. The fire was given the fourth degree of complexity out of the five possible. A fire train and a helicopter have been mobilized to fight the flames.
Andrey Rodygin, the press service chief of Tatarstan’s Ministry for Emergency Situations, said the fire crews had managed to localize the fire by now.
