Court arrests Nemtsov murder case suspect

MOSCOW, March 8. /TASS/. Moscow’s Basmanny Court on Sunday arrested Anzor Gubashev, accused in the case of murder of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov, a TASS correspondent reported from the courtroom.

"There are enough grounds to accuse Gubashev of involvement in the indicated crime, this is confirmed by case materials," the judge announced.

The court took into account that Gubashev is accused of an especially grave crime, may hide from the court and investigators, establish contact with accomplices not identified by investigators, threaten eyewitnesses or destroy evidence.

Gubashev does not admit guilt

Anzor Gubashev, the accused in the case of murder of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov, did not admit his guilt

"I am not guilty," Gubashev said.
