MOSCOW, 8 March. /TASS/. Foreign Ministers of Russia and the Dominican Republic Sergei Lavrov and Andres Navarro in greeting telegrams on the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations confirmed plans to develop cooperation, Russia’s Foreign Ministry reported on Sunday.
"The Russian foreign minister expressed readiness to continue constructive political dialogue with the Dominican Republic, to practical implementation of mutually beneficial economic and investment projects, development of the cultural and humanitarian contacts," the ministry said.
"Minister Navarro, in his turn, stressed the Russian-Dominican relations have been developing very dynamically lately, first of all in the material and cultural spheres, and confirmed his country’s aspiration for further development of cooperation and trade with Russia.".
