MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. Last week’s assassination of Russia’s prominent political oppositionist Boris Nemtsov in downtown Moscow provoked a volume of ungrounded political speculations in the West, Russia’s envoy to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said on Wednesday.
"This tragic event, worth of regrets and condolences provoked a mass of commentaries in the West and some of them were to the point," Chizhov said. "However, some of them were politically-motivated and highly-agitated in nature."
