Investigators of Russian opposition politician's murder get CCTV footage from crime site

Experts are studying the footage

MOSCOW, March 2 /TASS/. Investigators have received all footage from closed-circuit TV cameras scanning the site of Russian politician Boris Nemtsov's murder overnight to Saturday, Moscow government IT specialists told TASS.

"There was no reduction in CCTV quality on the night of the crime. No cases of camera shutdown have been reported," a spokesman said, adding that the Federal Guard Service was responsible for video surveillance over sites of special importance such as the nearby Kremlin.

All cameras were in working condition and experts are studying the images, Moscow IT sources said, giving no details of how many cameras covered the area on grounds of investigation secrecy.
