KIEV, March 1. /TASS/. Ukrainian lawmaker Alexey Goncharenko is currently staying at Ukraine’s embassy in Moscow, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said late on Sunday after a conversation with Goncharenko.

"Alexey Goncharenko is already in the territory of the Ukrainian embassy to Russia. I have just had a telephone conversation with him," Poroshenko wrote on his Twitter account.

Lawmaker has been summoned to appear before court that will consider the administrative case of his disobeying police, Goncharenko’s lawyer Mark Feigin told TASS.

"A protocol was issued on charges of Goncharenko’s committing an administrative offence of disobeying police officer /article 19.3 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offences/. Court hearings will be held tomorrow," Feigin said.

The lawyer said being a member of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada (parliament) and a delegate of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), his client enjoyed international immunity. "The court tomorrow is to cease administrative procedure on the case," he said.
