MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini on Thursday had a telephone conversation to discuss the implementation of the Minsk agreements and prospects for energy cooperation between Russia and the European Union, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"Lavrov and Mogherini discussed tasks related to the implementation of the Minsk agreements of February 12 on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis and support to the mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Ukraine, certain aspects of relations between Russia and the European Union, including issues of energy cooperation and efforts on the situation in Libya," the ministry said, adding that the telephone conversation had been initiated by the EU side.
