MOSCOW, February 25. /TASS/. More than 40% of Russians believe that a global war could start if the United States supplied weapons to Ukraine, the All-Russia Public Opinion Research Centre said on Wednesday.
About 18% of the respondents said the civil war in Ukraine would continue if Washington delivered weapons to Kiev, the pollster said.
According to 23% of Russians, Moscow should take no action if weapons are supplied. Only 14% said that in this case Russia should help the militia in the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.
The poll was conducted on February 14-15 among 1,600 people in 46 Russian regions. The statistical error does not exceed 3.5%
