Two people killed in light aircraft crash in southern Russia's Rostov Region

According to emergencies services, the Cetus-800 plane crashed during takeoff from a private airdrome in the Azovsky District near the locality of Dugino

MOSCOW, February 23. /TASS/. Two people are thought to have been killed when a light aircraft crashed in south Russia’s Rostov Region, a law enforcement source told TASS on Monday.

"According to preliminary data, two people were on board. They died," the source said.

An investigation is underway.

According to emergencies services, the Cetus-800 plane crashed in the Azovsky District near the locality of Dugino.

"The crash occurred during takeoff from a private airdrome," the source specified.

There were no victims or destruction on the ground.
