MOSCOW, February 11. /TASS/. Russia’s Investigative Committee is probing 26 integrated criminal cases on the use of banned means and methods of warfare by Ukraine, says a resolution of Moscow’s Basmanny Court on extension of the period of detention for former Ukrainian servicewoman Nadezhda Savchenko.
The resolution’s text was published by Savchenko’s lawyer Mark Feigin on his page in a social network.
Thousands have been killed and hundreds of thousands of people have fled Ukraine’s embattled east as a result of clashes between Ukrainian troops and local militias in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions during Kiev’s military operation conducted since mid-April 2014.
