MOSCOW, February 11./TASS/. The Russian Security Council will analyze possible threats a new National Security Strategy of the United States may pose to Russia’s interests, the Security Council chief Nikolay Patrushev told reporters on Wednesday.

"We need to reveal, analyze and assess possible threats to Russia’s national interests from certain provisions of the Strategy," Patrushev said.

"We have of course paid attention to an updated National Security Strategy submitted to Congress by the US president," Patrushev said, adding that the Russian Security Council was thoroughly studying it.

"Concrete conclusions, a forecast for the development of the situation will be made following this work," Patrushev said.
