Over 30 members of Hizb Ut-Tahrir terrorist group detained in Russia's Bashkortostan

UFA, February, 5. /TASS/. Over 30 members of the Hizb Ut-Tahrir international terrorist organization have been detained in the Russian republic of Bashkortostan, the press service of the Federal Security Service republican department reported Thursday.

“Those suspected in committing the crime have been detained and sent to the detention center,” the department claimed. The issue of selecting a measure of restriction is currently being resolved.

The Federal Security Service received evidence of a Hizb Ut-Tahrir terrorist cell operating in Ufa, as well as Ufimsky and Chishminsky Districts of the republic.

According to the security service, banned extremist literature, technical devices, electronic recording media and other propaganda editions were seized during searches.
