Latvia fails to distance itself from course for Nazism rehabilitation — Russian diplomat

MOSCOW, January 27. /TASS/. Latvia’s decision to block an exhibition at UNESCO's headquarters on children who were prisoners of a Nazi death camp is an "unprecedented step," Russian Foreign Ministry’s official spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said on Tuesday.

"It is evident that official Riga still cannot distance itself from the counterproductive course for the rehabilitation of Nazism and connivance at neo-Nazi elements that affect Latvia’s international reputation," Lukashevich said.
