MOSCOW, January 24. /TASS/. Moscow is deeply concerned about degradation of the relations between Palestine and Israel and calls on them to make steps towards each other, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on the eve of the working visit to Russia of Israel’s Foreign Ministry Avigdor Lieberman, due on January 26.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said at the negotiations of Russian and Israeli foreign ministers “would not remain without attention a key problem of the Middle East region - the task to achieve overwhelming, just and firm Palestine-Israel settlement on the known international legal base.”
“Moscow is deeply concerned about the current degradation of relations between Palestine and Israel,” the Foreign Ministry said. “We are calling on them not to follow the way of adding tension, but to make steps towards each other, which could offer a basis for resuming the political process.”.
