MOSCOW, January 21 /TASS/. Russia is a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and will continue fulfilling its financial commitments even if the Russian delegation suspends its work at PACE for a year, Russian State Duma Speaker Sergey Naryshkin said in an interview with the Kommersant newspaper.
“We are a Council of Europe member and we are going to meet our commitments, including financial ones, in this capacity,” Naryshkin said when asked whether Russia would continue paying its membership dues if the Russian delegation suspended its work at PACE.
