GENEVA, January 17. /TASS/. Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov is holding a meeting with Iran’s Deputy Foreign Ministers Abbas Araghchi and Majid Takht Ravanchi on Saturday night, an Iranian source close to the negotiations said.
On January 18 a full-format round of talks of P5+1 group of international mediators (Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China and Germany) with Tehran is due to take place in Geneva.
Representatives of Iran and the United States have been holding consultations on Iran’s nuclear programme since January 15.
Ryabkov arrived in Geneva on Saturday night.
