MOSCOW, January 13. /TASS/. Russian Aerospace Forces will be formed in 2015, Chief of General Staff and First Deputy Defense Minister Valery Gerasimov said on Tuesday.
“Aerospace Forces, a new arm of armed forces, will be created through the merger of two current arms of military forces: Air Force and Aerospace Defense Forces,” Gerasimov told reporters.
Construction of a reliable layered missile attack warning system in its space segment and in the deployment of highly prefabricated radar stations will be continued, he said.
