Three militants killed in special operation in Ingushetia identified

The three men, Ramzan Makhauri, Ramzan Gagayev and Amerkhan Amatkhanov, were killed in retaliatory fire

NAZRAN, December 28. /TASS/. The three militants who were killed in a special operation in Russia’s North Caucasian Republic of Ingushetia have been identified as persons wanted for involvement in terrorist attacks in Ingushetia and attempting on the lives of law enforcers, a spokesman for the local police told TASS on Sunday.

At about 19:00 Moscow time on Sunday, police officers tried to stops a car to check documents of those inside, who did not obey and opened gunfire at the police officers. The three men, Ramzan Makhauri, Ramzan Gagayev and Amerkhan Amatkhanov, were killed in retaliatory fire.

The police found weapons and munitions in their car.
