MOSCOW, December 18. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin on Thursday emphasized the importance of implementing the Minsk agreements on the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis in the meeting with UK Ambassador in Moscow Tim Barrow.

The meeting was held at the request of the UK ambassador.

During the talks, the high-ranking diplomats “exchanged views on key international and regional issues with the focus on prospects for settling the internal political crisis in Ukraine,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

“Russia paid attention to the importance of implementing the Minsk agreements, including the observance of the ceasefire regime, the end of the work and the approval of the so-called line of contact, the exchange of prisoners and the launch of a broad Ukrainian dialogue to promote the constitutional reform in the country,” the ministry said.

“The meeting touched upon political processes in Moldova and the situation in the North Caucasus,” it said.
