MOSCOW, December 18. /TASS/. The budget of the Russian defense ministry for the coming year is $50 billion, and the budget of Pentagon as almost ten times bigger — $575 billion, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin told an annual news conference on Thursday.
“And now you are telling me our policy is aggressive? Is there any common sense at all? Are we moving our troops towards borders with the U.S. or any other countries? Who is moving NATO bases, the infrastructures? Is anybody listening to us? Continuing a dialogue with us? No. Nobody. The answer remains the same - none of your business, every side has a right to choose means to provide security. Well, then we shall also act this way, why can’t we?” the president said answering a question from BBC.
