Russian female tourist wounded by stray bullet in Thailand’s Pattaya

BANGKOK, December 14. /TASS/. A Russian female tourist has been hit in the leg by a stray bullet as the local police were chasing teenage bag snatchers, the Bangkok Post electronic newspaper reported on Sunday.

The incident took place in the resort city of Pattaya. The woman, 27, happened to pass by when the police was chasing two bag snatchers, aged 17 and 18, after they had grabbed a bag from a tourist and fled the scene in a motorcycle. The two teenagers were wounded too. All were taken to a hospital in the vicinity.
