MOSCOW, December 10 /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has held a meeting with US Ambassador to Russia John Tefft to discuss bilateral relations, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
Tefft wrote in the “VKontakte” social network that Moscow and Washington should continue cooperating on issues of mutual interest despite differences over Ukraine.
It is an open secret that the United States and Russia hold different views on issues like Ukraine. But we can and we are ready to cooperate on other issues, Tefft said, urging Russia and the United States to continue working together where they can.
