Russian combat ships visit South Korea’s Incheon

The visit takes place within the events to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the battle of Russia’s Varyag cruiser and Koreets gunboat against the superior forces of the Japanese fleet

SEOUL, December 5. /TASS/. The Russian Pacific Fleet’s missile cruiser, a large anti-submarine ship, a tanker and a tug arrived on Friday on an unofficial visit in the South Korean port of Incheon. The Navy squadron will stay there for five days.

The visit takes place within the events to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the battle of Russia’s Varyag cruiser and Koreets gunboat against the superior forces of the Japanese fleet.
