MOSCOW, December 4 /TASS/. Real state sovereignty is an absolutely essential condition for Russia’s existence, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his annual state of the-nation address to the Russian Federal Assembly on Thursday.
According to him, Russia is being convinced that the current policy in Ukraine is “the only competent and well-considered policy which it should obey thoughtlessly and blindly.”
“That will not happen,” the president stressed.
“If some European countries have forgotten about their national pride long ago and are considering sovereignty to be a great luxury, real state sovereignty is an absolutely essential condition for Russia’s existence,” Putin said.
“This should be obvious to our own selves. We will either be sovereign or we are going to dissolve and get lost in the world,” the Russian head of state added.
