VOLGOGRAD, November 27. /TASS/. The year 2015 might be declared the Year of India in Russia, India’s Ambassador to Russia Pundi Srinivasan Raghavan said on Thursday.
“This initiative may be approved during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to India due in a two weeks period,” he said. “We have drafted many events and initiatives in various spheres to be held in many Russian regions in 2015. We also invite all representatives of Russian constituent regions to the Indian embassy in Moscow to present their regions.”
He said the “potential of informing” about possibilities for mutually beneficial Russian-Indian cooperation was underused at regional level.
