UN monitors ignore Kiev’s use of incendiary ammunition in east Ukraine — Russian FM

MOSCW, November 21. /TASS/. The UN observer mission for human rights has ignored the use of cluster and ammunition against civilians in the Donbass area by the Ukrainian armed forces, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s press and information department said in connection with the latest report released by the UN mission.

“Regrettably, the authors of the document are very far from being impartial in describing the tragedy in the east of Ukraine,” the document says. “The office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees keeps quiet about the instances in which the Ukrainian armed forces used cluster and incendiary ammunition against Donbass civilians. Also, the report omits the hard fact that the Ukrainian army and radicals from the National Guard employed multiple rocket systems Grad to attack residential areas."
