About 2.6 million Ukrainian citizens stay in Russia

About 826,000 of Ukrainians in Russia are refugees from eastern Ukraine, Federal Migration Service chief Konstantin Romodanovsky said

MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. There are currently 2.6 million Ukrainian citizens in Russia, and 826,000 of them are from south-eastern Ukraine, Federal Migration Service chief Konstantin Romodanovsky said.

“Today, 2.6 million Ukrainian citizens are in Russia, a million more than last year, and 826,000 of them are from the south-east of Ukraine,” Romodanovsky told a meeting of the Council of Russian Legislators.

At pressent, 39,500 Ukrainian refugees stay at accommodation centers all over Russia, he said.
