BEIJING, November 18. /TASS/. Russian and Chinese Defense Ministers, Sergey Shoigu and Chang Wanquan, agreed to use the Geneva disarmament conference to clarify Moscow’s and Beijing’s peaceful approaches, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said on Tuesday.

He said that Russia’s and China’s defense ministries already have experience of cooperation in international formats, for instance, the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore.

“We also discussed a possible use of the Geneva disarmament conference to explain peaceful approaches of Russia and China in order to make it clear where we are moving to, what we want and what we must do together to live in peace,” Antonov said, adding that such cooperation was very topical today.
