Putin calls on media to stop reporting only one side of Ukraine’s conflict

BERLIN, November 15. /TASS/. Ukraine’s crisis should not be highlighted from only one side, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with the German television ARD.

The interview is to be broadcast on Sunday but the channel’s website posted some extracts on Saturday.

The Russian president said that the problem should not be viewed just from one angle.

Armed hostilities are raging in Ukraine and the Ukrainian government has been using the Armed Forces. But media outlets have not mentioned it, to say nothing of rocket-propelled projectiles, he said.

He asked rhetorically whether the Western media wanted the Ukrainian government to eliminate all its political opponents, adding that Russia did not want it and would not let it happen.
