BRISBANE, November 15. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin had a meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron in this Australian city on Saturday. Talks were held behind closed doors on the sidelines of the G20 summit.
The two leaders welcomed each other, shook hands and took seats for talks. In the presence of journalists they preferred not to begin talks and waited for media people to leave the room.
The British prime minister said earlier that he planned to discuss with the Russian leader relations between Russia and Western countries in view of the situation over Ukraine. In particular, he noted that Britain did not want a new Cold War.
