STRASBOURG, November 4. /TASS/. Council of Europe Secretary-General Thorbjorn Jagland plans to visit Moscow at the end of this month, his spokesman Daniel Holtgen told TASS on Tuesday.
In his words, the date of the visit is being specified. A program of meeting is being negotiated with Russia, Holtgen said.
In early September, Jagland already visited Kiev and Moscow. He discussed issues of cooperation between Russia and the Council of Europe and the situation in Ukraine at meetings in the Russian capital with Russia’s parliament lower house State Duma Speaker Sergey Naryshkin and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
