MOSCOW, November 1. /TASS/. Russia’s Embassy to Norway verifies reports that local social services have removed a child from a Russian family, the press office of the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.
“Russia’s Embassy to Norway is verifying the reports that local social services have taken a child from Russian parents,” the ministry said. “Diplomats are clarifying the situation in close co-operation with Norwegian competent bodies and human rights organisation.’
“As before, Russia’s Foreign Ministry and Russia’s Embassy to Oslo have been operating in close contact with Children’s Rights Commissioner for the President of the Russian Federation Pavel Astakhov,” it said.
