Valentina Matviyenko and Sergey Naryshkin, speakers of the Federation Council and the State Duma, upper and lower houses of parliament, respectively, Head of Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Ivanov, Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Foreign Intelligence Service Director Mikhail Fradkov, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev and permanent member of the Security Council Boris Gryzlov participated in the meeting.
The president also informed participants in the meeting on details of his telephone talk with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Thursday, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. Leaders of these countries said they “were satisfied at the agreement attained with Ukraine and the European Commission over settlement of the gas issue,” Peskov said.
