SAMARA, October 25. /TASS/. A tram came under fire in the centre of Samara, Russia’s sixth largest city on the Volga River, 700 miles to the southeast of Moscow, the local police said on Saturday.
There were five people in the tram when the driver heard some claps and a sound of broken glass. She stopped the tram to discover a broken window and a hole in another.
No-one of the passengers was hurt.
The police say fire was allegedly opened from a pneumatic weapon.
A search for suspects is underway.
