LIPETSK, October 25. /TASS/. The final death toll in a household gas blast in the Lipetsk region in Central European Russia stands at three as the search operation ends, a spokesperson for the emergencies ministry’s Central Region office has said.
“The search has ended, dog specialists have left and it looks that the number of casualties is final. The debris will be cleared by the end of the day,” Yulia Dashkevich said.
The household blast at a residential house in the town of Dankov occurred on Friday. Forty people were evacuated from the house in which inter-floor constructions collapsed between the first and the fourth floors. A female resident was hospitalized with fractures.
