SOCHI, October 23. /TASS/. The implementation of Minsk agreements in south-eastern Ukraine is going uneasy, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday.
The sides continue exchanging fire and the Kiev regime is using military hardware, destroying the infrastructure in the south-east of the country, he explained.
Lavrov stressed it is essential not to disrupt the process of finalizing agreements on the line of separation in south-eastern Ukraine. “It is of outmost importance not to let the process of finalizing agreements on the line of separation disrupt. It will ensure stable ceasefire,” Lavrov said on the sidelines of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
The foreign minister said participants of the forum, involving the leading experts from around the world, focused on the Ukrainian crisis. “No one made forecast on how long it will last,” he said. The participants also confirmed the need for the launch of a nationwide dialogue in the crisis-hit country.
Russian Foreign Minister also underlined that he does not care about what the West may think about Crimea. “I am not interested to know the opinion of the West on that issue,” Lavrov said. “I do not care about its opinion regarding Russia’s other domestic affairs," he added.
