MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/. Russian consumer rights watchdog Rospotrebnadzor said on Saturday that Ebola tests taken from African students in the central Russian city of Oryol proved negative.

“The tests confirmed that African students have no Ebola virus,” Rospotrebnadzor said.

African students were taken to hospital with respiratory symptoms - high temperature and weakness.

Rospotrebnadzor said that a mother and her underage child who had showed symptoms of the Ebola disease after their return from Nigeria were put in isolation at a hospital in the far eastern city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
