MOSCOW, October 16. /TASS/. The Russian Strategic Missile Forces (SMF) will be beefed up with special units dealing with the detection and prevention of cyber-attacks, the Defense Ministry’s spokesman for the SMF Colonel Igor Yegorov said on Thursday.
“The SMF transfers to digital technologies in terms of operating weapons and forces and actively introduces e-document management,” Yegorov said. "In this regard, the missile forces seek preventive measures to enhance information security and form Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDPS) units, which will provide stable military control over forces in the circumstances of informational and technical impact," he added.
