MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Russia's Academy of Sciences (RAS) will organize a scientific exchange program with the US National Academy of Sciences, RAS president Vladimir Fortov said on Tuesday.
A similar exchange program that has existed for several years with Chinese counterparts will also be continued, Fortov said at an international forum on open innovations.
“We have received a very similar impulse from the US Academy of Sciences,” Fortov said. “A delegation will come here soon, in three of four weeks, and we will promote such a program with Americans as well,” he said, noting that the Russian institution saw no reason for suspending contacts with leading scientists in the United States because of sanctions. “They have exactly the same opinion,” Fortov added.
