MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and head of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso may find time for meeting in Milan, head of the EU Delegation to Russia Vygaudas Usaskas said on Tuesday.
Usaskas expressed hope that the acting EC president and head of the EU Council Herman van Rompuy would have a possibility to talk with the Russian leader in Milan within the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit scheduled for October 16-17.
Last week, European Commission spokeswoman Ahrenkilde Hansen said she did not rule out a possibility of such meeting between the EU leaders and the Russian president at the ASEM summit in Milan.
