MOSCOW, October 3. /TASS/. Ukrainian sides should strictly comply with the agreements on truce, withdrawal of weapons and OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperaiton in Europe) monitoring, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Jonh Kerry.

The Russian foreign minister stressed it is important to immediately stop shelling of residential areas in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk, which have killed civilians and a member of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Lavrov and Kerry also agreed to continue close contact for detailed discussion of international and bilateral issues.
