Putin classifies information about dual use products exports and imports as state secret

MOSCOW, October 3. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has expanded the state secret data list, supplementing it with the information about the Russian exports or imports of dual-use equipment, the official legal information website said on Friday.

The published document says that the data on the dual-use products, which are subject to export control, “premature disclosure of which can damage state security,” will be classified as state secret.

The Russian presidential order takes effect on Friday, October 3.
