MOSCOW, October 1. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his North Korean counterpart Ri Su Yong signed on Wednesday a plan of diplomatic exchanges for 2015-2016.
Lavrov said the document is expected to encourage fruitful cooperation between the foreign ministries of North Korea and Russia.
At the talks in Moscow, the sides are now discussing bilateral relations, including stepping up the political dialogue and trade and economic cooperation, and also the situation on the Korean Peninsula, Northeast Asia and Asia-Pacific.
The North Korean top diplomat arrived in Russia on Tuesday on a 10-day visit. This is the first visit of the North Korean foreign minister to Russia over the past four years.
