The State Council will convene in the Grand Kremlin Palace on September 18 to discuss measures to boost the competitiveness of domestic business on international markets under the WTO rules and regulations.
Russian Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev and Belgorod Region Governor Yevgeniy Savchenko will be the keynote speakers, the press service said.
Participants in the meeting will consider “a number of aspects having a direct impact on Russian business and its state on foreign markets, taking into account existing anti-Russian sanctions”, the Kremlin said. These include “possibilities of import substitution and technological modernization, adaptation of regions’ economy to WTO rules, financial recovery and long-term programs to develop leading enterprises”.
The gathering will be attended by Russian government officials and business representatives.
