MOSCOW, September 12. /ITAR-TASS/. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a resolution on the accommodation of refugees from Ukraine on the territory of Russia.

The resolution aims to promote better organization of the accommodation of refugees from Ukraine and their distribution on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Regions which had their refugee accommodation resource used up, including Crimea, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Leningrad, Moscow and Rostov regions and the cities Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sevastopol, were instructed to recommend newly arriving refugees to move to other regions of the Russian Federation. Nonetheless, the authorities of the regions that can no longer provide accommodation to newly arriving refugees, are obliged to give them temporary shelter for no longer than for three days necessary to organize their transportation to other regions.

Senior executive authorities of the territories of the Russian Federation have been recommended to establish the order and draw a schedule of the establishment and liquidation of temporary refugee centers, says an explanatory note to the document.

The Federal Migration Service has been instructed to arrange the transportation of the Ukrainian citizens, while the Ministry for Emergency Situations shall deal with the transportation problems in emergency cases only, the resolution said.
