MOSCOW, September 9./ITAR-TASS/. Malaysian Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein intends to discuss the investigation of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crash with the Russian foreign, defense and emergencies ministers, a source in the Malaysian embassy in Moscow said on Tuesday.

The source also said that Hishammuddin Hussein who is set to arrive in Moscow on Wednesday was seeking a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The Russian government's staff has not confirmed that this meeting will take place. "A final decision has not been made yet," the government's staff told ITAR-TASS.

The Boeing 777-200 of the Malaysia Airlines en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed on July 17 in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk Region, some 60 km (over 37 miles) from the Russian border, in the zone of combat operations between the Donetsk self-defense forces and the Ukrainian army. A total of 298 people were killed in the crash.
